Bill Yeo PhD, BSc (Hons)

Bill is a consulting geologist based in Hellman and Schofield's Brisbane office. He has a B.Sc. (hons), and a PhD in Geology from Bristol University, England. Bill has sixteen years experience in the minerals industry in Australia and New Zealand. He has extensive experience in both exploration and mining having worked for Valdora Minerals (gold), RGC Exploration Pty Ltd (gold, base metals), Pine Creek Goldfields Ltd (gold), Goldfields Exploration Pty Ltd (gold) and GRD Macraes Ltd (gold).

Bill's work with these companies included:

	Evaluation of exploration projects.
	Design, implementation and management of exploration and resource drilling programs.
	Comprehensive experience in open-cut mine geology and grade control, including ore optimisation using MP3 and model to mill reconciliation.
	Geological domaining and interpretation using 3-D wire framing using Minesight software.
	Resource estimation of gold deposits using classical and geostatistical techniques.
	Assessment of data quality and the design and implementation of comprehensive QAQC programs for exploration and grade control projects.
	Application of sampling theory to design sample collection and sample preparation protocols.
	Auditing of resource estimates.
	Design and development of material tracking databases for mining operations.
	Management of open-cut geotechnical evaluation and monitoring processes

Bill is an experienced user of Medsystem (Metech), Minesight3D / Compass (Metech), Techbase, MapInfo and MicroMine software
