Arnold van der Heyden
BSc, MAusIMM
Arnold is employed with H&S in their Sydney office as a resource geologist.
He has over fifteen years experience in resource evaluation and mine geology.
Arnold has worked for North, BHP, MMM and Savage River Mines in a wide variety
of commodities and types of deposits, both in Australia and overseas.
Arnold's work with these companies and H&S includes:
 | resource estimation of gold, base metals, iron ore and uranium in a
variety of projects using classical and geostatistical techniques
|
| due diligence and feasibility studies on copper and gold deposits
|
| comprehensive experience in mine geology, including grade control and mine
to mill reconciliation
|
| audit of mine geology systems and resource estimates
|
| design, implementation and management of drilling programs
|
| assessment of quality control issues such as drill hole sampling, assay
accuracy and precision
|
| advice on preparation of JORC compliant resource statements
|
| experience in financial modelling of mine projects and technical
evaluation of merger and takeover targets
|
| the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to mining
problems
|
| experience in Datamine, Surpac, Whittle and Vulcan mining software
|
