H&S provides customised setup, consulting and supervision of geological databases. H&S can set up geological database for clients using one or more of the following software packages:

Database Teaching Services

We also advise and teach on the best practices of setting up a geological database. Click on the thumbnail pictures below to see an example syllabus for our popular Building Geological Database using MSAccess. This course has been given at several mining and exploration conferences.

   

 

Database programming

H&S staff have programming skills in the software packages listed above. A lot of our internal programs often become utilities that our clients find useful. For example, click on the thumbnail picture below to see a MSAccess program that imports assay data text files directly into Access and uploads them to the master assay database.
