Assay Quality Control is concerned with two issues:
    - Accuracy:  how close are the assays to the true value?
    - Precision:  how repeatable are the assay results?

H&S can assist in the design and implementation of QC programs, making recommendations regarding:

	Sampling and assay protocols
	Appropriate analysis methods
	Standards to monitor accuracy
	Blanks to monitor sample contamination
	Duplicates to assess sampling and analytical precision
	Twinned holes to assess sampling bias
	Independent analyses different laboratory/different method
	Geological logging procedures
